Union Pier Michigan Real Estate
I've owned property in Union Pier since my family purchased it's first vacation cottage near McKinley Street beach in the 1970's. Union Pier's beachfront neighborhoods have maintained it's unique character over the decades and it remains one of the most sought after locations for today's vacation home buyer.
We update all the Union Pier MLS listings every day with new listings and price reductions. This results in a complete and accurate list of properties. Unlike the national sites like Trulia or Zillow, this website's content is current and complete.
Union Pier Lakefront Property
The lakefront property for sale in Union Pier will either have riparian beach rights, where your property extends to the waters edge or it will extend to the edge of the HOA (Home Owners Association) beach, in which case the beach is common ground shared with all other neighbors within the association. Lakefront property in Gordon Beach, Gowdy Shores, and Timberlane Estates, are examples of property with HOA beach rights.
There are pros and cons of owning either type of lakefront property, however, it is generally accepted that the benefits of riparian rights outweighs the negatives and therefore Union Pier lakefront property with Riparian rights is generally more expensive, all other factors being the same. I would be more than happy to explain in detail all of the issues inherent with buying and owning lakefront and beach access property in Southwest Michigan.
Buying Property in Union Pier
Since this is a small market with better than average demand, it is more important than ever to establish a relationship with a local expert who you can trust. I want to be that person. Since I work primarily with buyers, I do not have any reason to promote one listing over another. Additionally, I will be free to show you any property that is available to purchase regardless if the property is FSBO (For Sale By Owner), owned by a bank, FNMA, or is not yet listed for sale.
As a member of the local board of Realtors and lifetime member of the MLS, I will also be free to show you any Union Pier property listed for sale by other real estate agents and brokers.
I have over 25 years years of experience buying, selling, and brokering Union Pier real estate and I am consistently among the top 1% of agents in terms of sales transactions. Please call me to setup a time to look at Union Pier, MI real estate or any other property in Southwest Michigan.
